The City Clerk is the local official who acts
as a liaison between the Mayor and Council and the community, administers democratic processes such as elections, maintains all records, documents the minutes of the City, and implements all legislative actions.
Kim Hall was appointed Eton City Clerk in January of 1991. Currently the City Clerk's
Office employs an Assistant City Clerk,
Media Patterson, who also serves as the Eton Municipal Court Clerk. Ms. Hall and Ms. Patterson are committed to prompt, professional and courteous customer service. Additionally, the City Clerk's Office is responsible for the following:
Compliance Officer for Campaign Contributions/Qualifying Officer for all Elected Officials and Candidates
Process all City Zoning Activites
Preserves Legislative history of City efficiently and accurately
Administers the Open Records and Open Meetings Act (City Clerk only)
Licensing, Permits, and Tax Agent for:
Business Licenses Land Disturbing Permits
Alcoholic Beverages Insurance Companies
Property Taxes Solicitors
Oversees daily operations of the City
Monitor City Budgets
Manages all Human Resources duties and tasks
Manages all Court related documents and payments
Prepares Agendas and Minutes for all meetings
Processes all accounts payables and receivables
Plans and implements all City Special Events.
