Traci Rankin

Meet the  City Council

Political Career: 

Mrs. Rankin took office as Council Member Post 2 on January 2, 2018.


Mrs. Rankin has been married to Ben Rankin for 18 years.  Mr. and Mrs. Rankin have one daughter,

Maci J. Rankin.


Mrs. Rankin has been a teacher in Murray County for 20 years.  Currently she teaches at North Murray High School as a teacher of Mathematics.  She has held a position on the Leadership Team at NMHS, as Math Department chair for the past six years.


Graduate of Murray County High School in 1993.  Graduated from Clayton State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Level Education in 1998.  Mrs. Rankin continued her education with a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum from Lincoln Memorial University.


In her spare time, Mrs. Rankin enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

As a resident of the City of Eton, I want to provide a VOICE for the citizens.  I promise to listen and respect all points of view, and be open-minded to our community needs for the future.  I will work to set policy and make decisions based on facts and what is in the best interest of the City of Eton.
